Data transfer

When implementing any new system, it is essential that you have access to the expertise required to transfer your historical records, so as to provide consistent customer, supplier and management information. In most cases, along with your complete product file, your existing customer, prospect and supplier data will be imported into micommerce as standard, however in addition, historical order data can be imported so that this information is available for reference, though only on a read-only basis.

Training

In order to derive maximum value from any software implementation, it is vital that all staff involved, at all levels, at fully trained. This training not only includes instruction in the use of micommerce, but also ensures that any potential improvements in processes, are communicated to employees.

For micommerce, training is not a one-off activity carried out upon initial installation. If achieving maximum benefit is a continuous goal, then as staff responsibilities change and new staff join, the provision of training must also be ongoing. These services are delivered in partnership with you as part of your Service Level Agreement, and are part of our commitment to ongoing support and development.

Go live

Once your historical data is in place and your staff fully trained, micommerce is ready to go live. Where appropriate, this may mean running both micommerce and your old system in parallel, until such time as all the stakeholders are confident that the transition process has been completed successfully.
