This facility is especially useful in situations where it is not cost effective to list every item from an extensive product line, or where you source products based on a customer's specific request.
The product is added to micommerce in the normal way, however the 'show on web' flag is left unchecked. The stock code that is created is then communicated to the customer, so when entered via the unlisted item search, the item can be added to their basket in the normal way.
