Personalisation is a key element of any Customer Relationship Management strategy. Being able to identify your customer as soon as they arrive at your site, means you can serve their needs much better and at the same time, enhance their shopping experience.
A cookie is a small text file containing a unique identifying code. This file is automatically created by the web server and then stored locally by each browser that views your site. On each subsequent visit, the server reads this file and where possible, identifies the customer so that the page displayed can be personalised with messages and products specific to their profile.
