Goods In
When a delivery arrives from a supplier, the corresponding purchase order, created previously by micommerce, can be recalled and the items received in that delivery marked off. Once complete, batch numbers can be applied and a restocking list, ranked in location order produced, enabling the received items to be placed into their relevant warehouse locations.

As each item is confirmed as received, the status of any orders awaiting that stock are automatically updated in the background. If the received item is the final outstanding item, the order status will be automatically progressed from awaiting stock through to picking (assuming payment authorises automatically along the way).

Goods Out
As soon as an order has been both picked and packed, it is despatched via the appropriate courier and delivery method, or collected from your premises by the customer. micommerce administrates this process, by creating individual manifests (in most cases via integration with the courier's systems) that record which orders are despatched when and by what method. micommerce also communicates the appropriate information to those customers that specified they would collect, and upon collection records the date and time and collectors name.

micommerce integrates with the systems provided by all the major couriers such as Royal Mail, ParcelForce, CityLink, DPD, Internlink Express, UPS etc, and furthermore, where applicable micommerce also integrates with MetaPack, thus ensuring that the most cost effective and appropriate courier is used for the exact configuration of each consignment sent.
