miCommerce

By grouping individual stock items together, product packages can be created to up-sell the customer. These could be the 'value pack' or 'beginners pack' for example, that contain specific products at a fixed price.

Alternatively, groups allow products with multiple options (small, medium, large etc) to be combined and a discount applied, so that the customer's selections denote the discounted price charged.

Finally, a BOM (bill of materials) can be used in manufacturing or OEM environments, where a list of components and or sub assemblies are combined to create a single new stock item.

In each case micommerce seamlessly maintains the stock levels for each of the individual component parts. In all cases, the component with the lowest stock level sets the availability of the complete package, meaning that if one component part is out of stock, the entire package will show as out of stock.
